Sewing machine has been moved into my house! Michael is not pleased and he says if he sees any sewing mess outside of my "hovel" (the spare room), then it's going straight back to Mum's house. New dress will be ready tomorrow, hopefully, but in the mean time here are some pictures of the dress I entered in the Pink & Red contest on Burdastyle and Sukicat (isn't she delicious???).

Lovely dress! I think you really pulled pink and red off well as a combination. The different shades go together beautifuly. You are right to assert your right to sew in the house! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous details on that dress and what a precious cat!!
ReplyDeleteYour dress looks lovely and very glam. Is that a red underskirt peeping out? Did you make your headpiece too, I recall you were making alice bands for etsy in previous posts; I love it!! Adds the right touch of sophistication to your outfit. And your pussycat! CUTE!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress, pink and red is such a hard colour combination to pull off but you managed it beautifully. And sewing mess is the best kind of mess in my opinion.
