Tired

Here is my new refashioned dress from the 80s monstrosity in my last post. I'm actually really pleased with it, especially since it is quite casual and I am totally lacking in the casual department. I'm obsessed with stripes going in different directions and this has given me loads of ideas for other things.

As you can see, the shitty camera has returned, so apologies for the dark photos.

I've also nearly finished my 1960s dress. I've temporarily given up as the wool has stretched and it's too big at the back and needs taking in. I have no patience for alterations so I'll deal with it when it gets cold enough to wear it.

Uni is horrific at the moment. So I have no idea when I'll get time for my next project :(

  1. Gosh! That is so different from the original you posted last time. I have to remember the bigger the dress is the better, lol. Looks so chic and surprised, someone would say it was urban outfitters!

  2. I love the low back V, very chic! I have many dresses that I think could be so much more but I never get around to taking them apart, or if I have, putting them back together. Haha.

  4. The dress looks gorgeous, great job!! I especially love it with the double belt, such a chic detail. And your photos are not shitty, I reckon the details are pretty sharp.
    If you have time, the Madonna exhibiton is on at NX100, a new arcade in Hay St Mall. And I got all my fabrics at Fab fabrics...
    Sorry uni is getting you down... :( What unit are you onto now?
